Dolce Mia liquid soap is a Castile soap. Castile soap is a vegetable oil based natural soap that has been around for hundreds of years. Castile soap isn't a brand, but a type of soap made exclusively from vegetable oil (often olive oil) rather than animal fat or synthetic substances.
In our castile soap, we use a combination of extra virgin olive oil and coconut oils to create a soap that cleans effectively without being aggressive - a soap that leaves the skin silky-smooth and refreshed. Our natural liquid soap has a high level of glycerine with no sulfates, surfactants or detergents which gently cleanse the skin.
No Unnecessary Additives: We stay as close to natural as possible using the highest quality soap ingredients and avoiding unnecessary additives in our liquid soap. For example, we do not use sodium lauryl sulfate - a thickening and sudsing agent. Dolce Mia liquid soap lathers up beautifully on its own, so we would never want to add an ingredient that literally strips away the benefits of our soap. What we put into our soap is just as important as what we leave out. We use ingredients such as olive oil, shea butter and lots of glycerine to gently cleanse, moisturize and protect skin.
