Natural Soap
A number of ingredients including Olive Oil, Vitamin E, Aloe, Lavender, Shea Butter, Chamomile, White Tea, Oat, Sweet Almond, and Green Tea are part of the formulation of what is being called natural soap. Soaps made from glycerine, olive oil, shea butter, lavender, and Aloe are a great natural alternative to harsh chemical soaps. Olive Oil is derived from Olive fruit from Olive Trees which are grown primarily in the Mediterranean but increasingly grown in California. Olive Oil is considered widely as a healthy substance whether eaten or applied to skin. It is excellent as an active ingredient in bar soap. This oil is full of anti-oxidants, fatty acids (Oleic and Linoleic acid), vitamins, volatile components, vitamins (Vitamin A and beta-carotine) and other healthy water soluble components. Essential fatty acids are ones which the human body cannot make and olive oil is a good source whether you’re using it to cook, in a salad, or as a topical moisturizing lotion. Olive oil contains two such fatty acids; Linoleic, an omega-6 fatty acid and alpha Linolenic, an omega-3 fatty acid. Olive oil is composed of about 10% linoleic acid and about 1% linolenic acid. Soap or Lotions with olive oil offer a natural antioxidant protection for the skin against the damaging effects of free radicals that contribute to the appearance of aging and skin damage. Skin lotion that combines organic substances such as Olive Oil, Shea Butter and Aloe offer exceptional benefits for ongoing skin health. Olive Oil can also be used in organic bar soaps and organic hand lotions for use as a bath body product. Dolce Mia products offer the wonderful healthful benefits of Shea Butter in our body lotion, natural soap, and hand sanitizer. |
