Staying Well in Style

Dolce Mia Brings Vintage Flair and Quality Ingredients to Instant Hand Cleanser Market

Sebastopol, CA – (November 28, 2009) –

With the country on high alert against the HIN1 flu virus, the timing couldn’t be better for a new instant hand cleanser that is not only effective but stylish, pleasurable to use, great for gift-giving and kind to the environment.

Instant hand cleansers are everywhere these days. Little bottles of it can be found in purses, back packs, cars and pockets. Typically drying and smelly, this practical product was in desperate need of a makeover. Enter the California-based company Dolce Mia Designs.

Made with aloe and organic botanicals to moisturize and nourish skin, Dolce Mia’s new hand cleanser product turns a simple task into the kind of little luxury that puts a smile on your face. Dolce Mia’s formulation cleanses instantly, without water, using the same quick-drying alcohol base as other effective cleansers. But Dolce Mia’s hand cleansers also leave hands feeling soft and smooth, and smelling great too. The product is available in four wonderful yet subtle fragrances, and six tasteful vintage-inspired designs.

With themes focusing on images from the natural world, this personal care necessity is as stylish as it is effective. The artwork is by Jenny Mountjoy, Dolce Mia’s creator and designer. Jenny’s designs manage to be both classic and au courrant. Kids, teens and adults will all find something to love in Dolce Mia’s line.

Indeed, this combination of function and style is what has made Dolce Mia a key beauty line in salons, spas and shops of all kinds across the country. Made locally in Northern California, Dolce Mia’s products are kind to the environment and are not tested on animals.

Dolce Mia Introduces Vintage-Themed Lotions for Gift Giving and Personal Use

PRESS RELEASE

Dolce Mia Introduces Vintage-Themed Lotions for Gift Giving and Personal Use in Today’s Economy

Lotion

Dolce Mia Introduces Vintage-Themed Lotions for Gift Giving and Personal Use in Today’s Economy

Consumers are returning to the simple pleasures, and Dolce Mia Designs of Sonoma County, California is benefiting.

Sebastopol, CA – (June, 30th 2009) –Riding the wave of nostalgia, and appreciation of affordable luxuries, Dolce Mia Designs of Sonoma County California is enjoying a growth year. The company’s line of natural soaps, introduced last fall, captured the imagination of the country and became a best-selling gift item in stores everywhere. Not only are the vintage designs great looking, but the made-in-USA natural soaps themselves are wonderful to use, satisfying the nation’s need for unique gifts that are sure to be appreciated as well as for feel-good products that add pleasure to life.

But where are the lotions? everyone asked. What a perfect match they would be, they said.

Good things take time…and now the lotions are here. Available in fourteen vintage-inspired themes, such as Pin-up, Cowgirl,Ccowboy and Hawaiian, and in eight original fragrances like Pikake, Tuberose, Leathery Western and Sweet Almond, Dolce Mia’s lotion is a thick, creamy shea butter blend infused with organic botanical extracts, vitamin E, almond and sunflower oil.

Estheticians and spa-specialists were consulted on everything from ingredients to pricing to ensure top-quality, affordable luxury for all. The resulting lotion is suitable for the most discerning tastes and the sensitive skinned. In addition to a 12 oz. pump bottle, the company also offers a travel size jar, which with its retro tin lid and wood-grained outer wrapper is itself a triumph of original packaging.

Intriguingly, Dolce Mia’s packaging was designed with customization in mind. The canvas bands, where most of the design appears, are digitally-printed, making it relatively easy to add text, a logo, or even to create entire new designs. Personalized wedding favors, corporate gifts and a fundraising program for volunteer firefighter departments are just a few of the ways that this ease of customization has been explored so far.

Early adopters of Dolce Mia’s beauty line include the iconic Fred Segal in Los Angeles. International buyers are also beginning to take note. Dolce Mia has captured the attention of the Japanese cosmetics market and will soon be distributed throughout Japan.

Dolce Mia’s lotions and full line of beauty products and gift items can be viewed on-line at www.dolcemia.com .

Dolce Mia Announces Fragrances for New Bar Soaps and Liquid Soaps

The following are descriptions of the custom fragrance blends used in Dolce Mia’s new Fine Soaps of Sonoma County line. Our fragrance blends were developed exclusively for Dolce Mia to coordinate with and enhance the thematic elements of our soaps. In the vast market of over-perfumed, artificial and predictable smelling soaps, ours stands apart with fragrances that are rich, deep without being overpowering, and unique.

Mango Tangerine

This fruity and refreshing scent could stir up an appetite. It’s the kind of delicious aroma that merits a warning like those found on surfboard Wax: “Do not eat/chew”. The pure, fragrant mango and tangerine are perfectly balanced—full of complex flavor with a tangerine high note and just sweet enough.

Color: mellow sunset

Styles: Surfer Boy, Surfer Girl

Tropical Citrus

A rich undercurrent defines this luscious scent of fruit and flowers. Citrus high notes emphasize freshness, with a hint of coconut to ground our scent in the tropics. It’s a fresh take on the suntan smells we remember.

Color: leaf

Styles: Vintage Hawaiian, Hula Couple

Vintage Floral Tuberose

This scent is a fresh twist on tradition, starting with a classic floral blend plus a heady addition of tuberose. A soft, sensual yet subtle floral, this scent is sweetly seductive, reminding us of the attraction of the flower.

Color: petal pink

Styles: Golden Girl, Red Hot, Starlet

Pikake

The native Hawaiian Pikake flower is used in the traditional Hawaiian lei and is known throughout the world as “Hawaiian night blooming jasmine”. Fresh and uplifting, its smell will stimulate memories of a tropical evening breeze. Lush, sweet, and a bit exotic.

Color: Pikake white

Styles: Hula Girl

Leathery Western

This clean outdoorsy scent emanates elements of freshly chopped wood, new leather and lemon verbena. Calming, bold and inspiring, it speaks to those who love a fresh clean confident cleanse.

Color: light saddle

Styles: Western

Vanilla

Simply the most perfect vanilla scent around for the body. Creamy, with a wisp of sweetness, this scent is rich and versatile. A delectable fragrance the whole family will enjoy.

Color: cream

Styles: Horsey Girl

Sweet Almond

This scent is pure almond with a hint of sweetness. The plush almond aroma is smooth and bright with currant high notes – appealing and fulfilling for all ages.

Color: light Almond

Styles: Howdy, Horsin’ Around

Ambery Lavender

An exquisitely balanced combination of flower and mineral, our ambery lavender scent is loaded with both vitalizing and calming aromatic qualities. Loved by lavender purists, this scent also has universal appeal, with its added depth of rich amber notes.

Color: sunrise pink

Styles: Sittin’ Cowgirl, Shootin’ Cowgirl
